Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Wine Spectator Pleasantly ripe and juicy, complex and engaging, with licorice, mocha and blackberry flavors. Loses velocity and fades on the finish, where the tannins are edgy. Best from 2019 through 2026. 70,000 cases made.
Wine AdvocateA large cuvée from Beringer (130,000 cases) and a great value is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Knights Valley. They have over 500 acres of vineyard in this area and have been long making nice chocolaty, blackcurrant, plum and Asian spice-styled Cabernets with supple tannins, medium to full body and loads of fruit. True consumer-pleasure wines, this is just that and should continue to drink well for another 8-10 years.
