Château-Haut-Bages-Liberal Pauillac 2012

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

The nose is complex with notes of cassis, smoky and a hint of cedar. The mouth is also fruity with a slightly spicy touch and show an admirable roundness. An expressive, voluptuous wine with fine, freshness, and a beautiful aromatic persistence. This 2012 vintage is a pretty nice classic of Château Haut‐Bages Libéral.

Wine EnthusiastBarrel sample. Concentration is the name of the game with this dark and intense wine. It has power and a structure that is finely tannic and dusty, with bright fruits suspended within. The aftertaste shows fine, bright acidity.

Wine SpectatorThis has a solid core of plum and blackberry coulis flavors that melds with the roasted alder and tobacco notes. The lively iron edge is well-buried on the finish, showing good flesh from start to end. Best from 2016 through 2022. 10,000 cases made.
